The gold rate always shows the value of 1kg of fine gold, this means that it consists of 999.9 parts gold, or 99.9% (24K) From this rate we can calculate what your scrap gold is worth. For this we will have to determine the content and weight through hallmarks, or tests, and our calibrated scales. Thus we arrive at a total amount of what your material is worth. Unfortunately, this will never be the amount you will actually get for it. However, we guarantee that together with you we will weigh and test the materials, if you like you can test and weigh it yourself, and together we will determine the price of your old gold. What we do with it!
Your old gold is recycled. Your gold jewelry, coins, table ware and souvenirs go into a crucible along with Borax and are heated by us in our propane furnace to a temperature of about 900 degrees Fahrenheit. Adding Borax to the material causes most of the dirt to float on top. Once melted we pour the metals into a mold, again the dirt will be on top, we let this solidify briefly, and then knock the ''bier'' into cold water. The dirt and the precious metals will separate, leaving us with a gold bar. The gold bar is recycled and new jewelry, computer chips and the like are made from it.
